  裁断

  Upholstery material cutting

  生地や革をソファの型紙通りに裁断する工程です。ユーカスでは裁断機を使い、より正確に裁断をしています。生地や革は生産したロットや個体差によって、若干の色差や傷が出ることがあります。１点１点 人の手と目で細かくチェックし、ロットや在庫の管理を徹底することで、作業ロスを減らし、後の工程がスムーズに進むよう繋げます。

  This is the process of cutting fabric or leather according to the sofa's pattern. At EUCAS, we use cutting machines to ensure precise cutting. Fabrics and leather may have slight color variations or imperfections due to differences in production batches or individual items. Each piece is meticulously checked by human hands and eyes to manage batches and inventory thoroughly. This minimizes work losses and ensures smooth progress in subsequent processes.

  縫製

  Sewing

  裁断した張り地を縫い合わせ、カバーに仕上げる工程です。縫製は完成度を大きく左右する重要な工程で、単に縫い合わせるといっても、張り地の端の処理をしたり、素材や形に合わせてミシンを変えるなど、数ある細かな作業をリーダー中心にチームプレーで進めていきます。１人１人技術とチームプレーで品質を高めています。

  This is the process of sewing together the cut upholstery materials to create covers. Sewing is a crucial step that greatly affects the final quality. It involves not just stitching but also finishing the edges of the upholstery materials, changing sewing machines according to the material and shape, and other detailed tasks. These numerous intricate tasks are carried out through team play, led by the leader. Each individual's skill and teamwork enhance the quality.

  木工

  ソファの強度、形状の要となる木枠を作る工程です。ユーカスでは固さのある木を安定的に入手しており、NCという正確に木材を切ることができる機械で木材を切り出しています。正確に切り出した木材を手作業で企画通りに組み立てていくことで、がたつきや音なりの無い安定した木枠が作られます。

  This is the process of creating the wooden frames that are crucial for the strength and shape of the sofa. At EUCAS, we stably procure hard wood and cut it using a machine called NC, which can accurately cut wood. By assembling the precisely cut wood manually according to the plan, we create stable wooden frames without any wobbling or noise.

  下張り

  underpadding

  組み立てた木枠にバネやベルト、ウレタンを手作業で取り付ける工程です。この工程はソファの座り心地や見た目に大きく影響する工程です。完成すると見えなくなる部分ですが、細やかで正確な作業が安定した品質に繋がります。

  This is the process of manually attaching springs, belts, and urethane to the assembled wooden frame. This step significantly affects the comfort and appearance of the sofa. Although these parts become invisible once completed, meticulous and precise work leads to stable quality.

  張り
  /検品

  Upholstery process and Inspection

  本体にカバーを被せると同時に最終検品をしていく工程です。ソファーが完成形となる工程であり、スピーディーで的確な作業と、神経質さが必要とされます。明確な検品基準・的確な部材配置・清潔と余裕の有る作業スペース。それらが、熟練の技術と共に、高品質のソファーを作り上げます。

  This is the process of covering the main body with a cover while simultaneously conducting the final inspection. It is the stage where the sofa takes its final form, requiring speedy and precise work as well as meticulous attention to detail. Clear inspection standards, accurate placement of components, and a clean and spacious work environment—all of these, along with skilled craftsmanship, create high-quality sofas.

  梱包
  /出荷

  Packing and Shipping

  付属のパーツと合わせて、ソファの形にあった大きなダンボールに１つ１つ丁寧に梱包し、出荷日・運送会社ごとに仕分けし出荷を待ちます。

  Each sofa, along with its accompanying parts, is carefully packed into a large cardboard box that fits the shape of the sofa. The packages are then sorted by shipping date and shipping company, and await shipment.
